The bells of all the churches in Freising rang for fifteen minutes on Saturday morning, as Pope Francis was buried. There’s a short clip at this link (my server is too slow) that I recorded at the fountain of St Georg, by the Rathaus. I’ve never seen the fountain decorated for Easter before, but it could be that I never looked. It’s a bit out of the way.

Freising is getting ugly.

Fun for New Year’s this year: I woke up at 3 a.m. on NYE with a sore throat and a fever. Slept 18 hours a day until Thursday; lost Friday to migraine. Eh, what can you do?
