Day Trip - Photographs

Morning Walk around Oberzolling

Mr Radish had a random day off, and instead of “wasting it” enjoying ourselves inside, we went on a 7.5km march around some villages and farmland a few miles up the road. The walk was suggested by the Landkreis Freising (think county) tourism board. Here’s their deets.

I use the word “march” because when I go for a walk, I like to stop to look at things. Rocks, plants, chapels, ruins, flowers, animals, clouds, signs–whatever is around. Mr Radish likes to make as many kilometers as possible as quickly as possible.

Fortunately, we had to stop a few times so he could look at the map on his phone, and that left me some time to take a few impressions, which I will share with you now. They’re all from my phone camera.

The start of the walk is along the Amperkanal, which is a canal diverted off from the river Amper.
