Sinuses still hurt, cat still deteriorating, computer still messed-up (ersatz gaming keyboard still disgusting), weather mostly awful. I’m not sure why I bother anymore.

Finally, after waiting nearly week for a sunny day so I could look for the comet, I got one.
Went up the holy mountain of Weihenstephan.
Met some folks up there with advanced cameras and software, who located the comet–behind the clouds.
