Week in Photos 154

It’s pollen season again, and I have been doubling the usual dosage of meds and yet still dripping and itching. And wheezing, which is new, but the doctor at the radiation center assured me any damage to my lung from this treatment won’t show up for months. So I have that going for me, which is good, I guess.

X lets me post my domain now, but gives some people a ridiculous and unfounded “phishing” warning. You can register with WordPress to leave a comment. I won’t ask you for anything else. Meh.

Started the week at the BrauereiFest at Camba Bavaria. Had a food truck burger, bought some homemade cake to bring back to Mr Radish’s parents for weekly cake and coffee. Good time.

So I’m walking by, and wait–is that a piano?!
Surely it’s just there because the dude who was stripping the interior needed a friend or two to move it out…

I went downtown twice on Monday, which was probably a mistake because then I had to see this when I walked home.

Walked home a different way on Thursday, so I wouldn’t have to see the pile of rubble, but then there’s this. It’s been empty since before I moved here ten years ago, and it’s under Denkmalschutz (historic building protection) so there’s a fine for knocking it down (didn’t stop whoever tore down the 18th-century stable on the same street; it’s still an empty lot). So, I might just be watching it rot slowly. Yay.

Easter decorations at the well of St. Georg.
Note the asshole using it as a bike rack. There’s an actual bike rack about fifteen feet away.

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve blogged about meatballs, and the whole pumpkin thing fell apart last year. I’m not really sure what I should be focusing on these days.

Made the ones with Spargel (asparagus) and butter-lemon sauce and I’m low-key angry I didn’t make them last year.
