The flower is some plastic litter I picked up off the side of the road while out on a walk. Now I have put it back out into the world.
I started this project as an exercise in letting things go, which I am soul-destroyingly bad at, but I’m also enjoying the stories finders submit. This one surprised and delighted me.

March 27, 2024On Good Friday we went out to the newly reopened restaurant in the Bayerischer Hof; they serve mostly cuisine from Sudtirol with the occasional Pakistani dish (we met the new guy, he seems nice). The holiday menu featured fish, but I ended up with the vegetarian Nockerl–not the sweet kind, like in Salzburg, but basically bread with egg and cheese and butter. March 29, 2024Sugar cookies for Easter. Super old-fashioned. The weather was annoyingly warm, reminding me of a specific Easter from my childhood. Not much to look at, but they taste fabulous.
