After a prolonged cold snap, the Stoibermühlsee froze over for only the second time in the ten years I have lived here.
I’m still having some problems with my fingers, so we didn’t stay very long, but it was fun to watch all the families skating and enjoying Eisstockschießen (a Bavarian sport similar to curling).

Pickled some sprouts. The jar is not sealed; they’re in the fridge, and will be ready to eat in two weeks.
The red onions turned the liquid bright pink.

My challenge quilt is still not finished, I have been playing too many mobile games and watching too much TV.
As I am not allowed to show the finished quilt before the Patchwork Days in May, this is the last update.
(“That checked fabric doesn’t fit at all, Radish.” I know, that was one of the challenge fabrics.)

This group had more clowns, and roasted some local politicians.
