{"id":5721,"date":"2025-12-11T10:23:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T09:23:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radishthegreat.com\/blog\/?p=5721"},"modified":"2025-12-11T10:23:52","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T09:23:52","slug":"short-december-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/radishthegreat.com\/blog\/2025\/12\/11\/short-december-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Short December Update"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you&#8217;ve been counting the weeks, December 4 should have been my last infusion of Paclitaxel, but I caught a cold, with a 102F fever, sore throat, postnasal drip, etc etc. That&#8217;ll teach me to leave the house&#8230;<br><br>Long story short, my appointment for the 4th was canceled, and when I reported to the blood test the following Monday with a cough and no voice, the makeup appointment was canceled.  We&#8217;ll try again next week, but this cough could stick around. <br><br>I&#8217;ve basically spent every day in December laying in bed or on the couch. The first week I was sleeping fourteen hours a day; this week I&#8217;m watching TV.  Not even good TV, really.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve had a giant post complaining about everything sitting in the drafts for about eight weeks now, but between the brain fog from the treatment and FUZZ dying, I am too numb write anything meaningful or entertaining or personal. And yet, somehow, I am not yet numb enough.<br><br>That&#8217;s it.
