Once again<\/a>, there’s nothing better on a painfully sunny 80\u00b0F Sunday morning than head out to a fall-themed farm market<\/a> to buy pumpkins. There was a scheduling conflict with the Freisinger Volksfest this year, so we just rushed in, raided the barn, and staggered back to the car, struggling under the weight of our loot<\/s> purchases. (I hurt my neck lifting an over-filled tote into the car. Lol.)<\/p>\n\n\n

It’s a little different mix this year, with a new variety from New Zealand, and plenty of Lakota<\/a> for pies. The four small ones are Zierk\u00fcrbisse<\/em>, not for human consumption, because It\u2019s decorative gourd season, fluffernutters!<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>
