The flower is some plastic litter I picked up off the side of the road while out on a walk.
Now I have put it back out into the world.

I started this project as an exercise in letting things go, which I am soul-destroyingly bad at, but I’m also enjoying the stories finders submit.
This one<\/a> surprised and delighted me.

On Good Friday we went out to the newly reopened restaurant in the Bayerischer Hof; they serve mostly cuisine from Sudtirol with the occasional Pakistani dish (we met the new guy, he seems nice). The holiday menu featured fish, but I ended up with the vegetarian Nockerl<\/em>–not the sweet kind, like in Salzburg<\/a>, but basically bread with egg and cheese and butter.

Sugar cookies for Easter. Super old-fashioned. The weather was annoyingly warm, reminding me of a specific Easter from my childhood. Not much to look at, but they taste fabulous.
