Of course I&#8217;m not going to ask&#8211;that will give me away!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve had the camera along the past two afternoons but the pictures are terrible. Both days we&#8217;ve had the eternal Freising near-freezing fog; sun can be out in both Munich (upstream) and Landshut (downstream) but there&#8217;s a swampy area (<em>Moos<\/em>) south of town that keeps us dark and damp. <em>Was kann man machen<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highlight of my day is the US Embassy calling Pumpkin Pie &#8220;Pie&#8221; instead of using the German word &#8220;Kuchen&#8221; (cake).  <strong><em>PIE IST KEIN KUCHEN<\/em><\/strong>.
